British Chevening scholarship for young Indian lawyers
Eligibility: Dynamic young Indian lawyers with 3 year experience who are law graduates from Indian universities can apply for
 this twelve-week programme of academic and practical work in corporate 
and commercial law tenable at the College of Law in York, UK. 
Fields of study: The fellowship is intended for a specific research 
project, which may be submitted along with their applications. 
Application: Information sheets and application forms are available from
 British Council offices and libraries across the country. 
Last date: October 31 
Cambridge overseas development administration scholarship
Eligibility: Applicants should have 55 per cent in master's criminology,
 sociology, social work, public administration or political science, and
 must have cleared NET and registered for PhD
Fields of study: Criminology and police science. 
Value: Each candidate is awarded Rs 2,500-3,000 pm plus contingency 
allowance for three years
